David is an expert organic chemist who now specialises in green chemistry and carbon sequestration technologies. A Fellow of the RSC with Chartered Chemist status, after finishing his academic studies with a Ph. D in organic chiral chemistry, he worked for over 20 years in large chemical and pharmaceutical companies, before setting up his own business initially in carbon sequestration chemistry before moving on to specialise in green chemistry through Rejuvetech Ltd.

He has also carried out project work for clients in analysis of asphalt material, to determine environmental impact.

Other sector work involves aquaculture demineralisation and several projects involving waste optimisation and product evaluation (again considering potential toxicity issues).

Over 15 years spent in industrial chemical manufacturing as an organic chemist in research and development on a broad range of products from pharmaceuticals to weed killers.

Founding chemist of a carbon sequestration company carrying out R&D in low carbon and sustainable chemistry.

In 2013 founded Rejuvetech Ltd, a green chemistry consultancy specialising in catalysis, materials development and waste utilisation, helping businesses improve energy efficiencies whilst reducing GHG emissions and their environmental impact.

In 2021, Greentech Road Solutions Ltd was set up to commercialise a globally patented asphalt repair technology invented by David which negates oxidation and combats the freeze thaw cycle.

Over 10 years working as a Specialist Visiting Lecturer in Green Chemistry at Sheffield Hallam University and working closely with several universities to facilitate collaborative projects in R&D and sustainability.
