Inutox provides general toxicology and also specialist REACH advice and support to companies and organisations. Inutox has extensive experience with REACH having been involved with the legislation since its inception in 2007.
We can advise on chemical testing strategies for REACH and other purposes and undertake commissioning and study monitoring of such testing if required. Other areas of expertise are read-across assessments, IUCLID dossier preparation and preparation of chemical safety reports.
Recent assignments include Study monitoring of testing for REACH Annex VII and VIII registrations, preparation of REACH Annex VII and VIII dossiers, assessment of the feasibility of read-across to support an Annex IX registration, preparation of read-across framework documents, and preparation of REACH Chemical Safety Reports including development of associated exposure scenarios.
In 1989 after a short career as a Virologist in the Public Health Laboratory Service Gary joined ICI Pharmaceuticals at Alderley Park to work as an in vitro Toxicologist. Subsequently he moved into study directing toxicology studies for both early phase drug discovery and regulatory purposes. In 1998 Gary moved into the industrial chemicals sector to work as a Toxicologist at Zeneca Specialties, in a role supporting worldwide regulatory chemical notification and company research and development functions. Gary continued to work for various Specialties successor businesses particularly in the area of REACH until 2016 when he established Inutox to provide toxicological and REACH expertise to third party companies and organisations.
